A former collegiate softball player and emerging athletic development professional, Lauren King was deeply inspired by her experiences to help other athletes. Diamond Development was created to empower athletes through education, experience, and action on their path to greatness. 

Lauren has fulfilled several roles in the higher education space, including: student, athlete, staff for housing, career development, and counseling center, teaching assistant, and athlete leadership mentor. She completed her Masters of Higher Education at Grand Valley State (April ‘25), while serving as the Graduate Assistant for Alcohol & Other Drugs, and President of the Graduate Student Association. She also serves as the Coordinator of Operations with Beyond the Field, LLC. 

Lauren King and Diamond Development intend to create a holistic picture of the world of college athletics to dimensionally enhance the experiences of student-athletes.
